Set amongst the shropshire hills, The Horseshoe Inn,(usually ,known as"the bridges") is developing its reputation,as an excellent live music venue , with musicians and customers alike , the word has gone around,"if you want a good night and good music get to the Bridges ! or miss out!! Music nights are creeping up to four nights a week now , and this is thanks to all the people who support us, in our mammoth crusade to keep music live .

It all started on a wednesday evening,with the idea of combining a feast for a fiver, with the huge personality & talent of the one & only Tony Skeggs and it worked well,people came back for more..and more...and more!! Friday nights were then introduced,and have proved to be very popular,with some of shropshires top musicians, setting the hills alive, with a varied genre of sounds!. So why not have an open mic, we thought!, why not indeed!..so we did!, and a very talented bunch of people,make their way to the bridges on a monday evening, and a great time is had by all, wether they participate,as a musician/singer,or as a part of a very encouraging audience, every one is welcome.

Finally,our music nights would not have happened, had we not had such a love of all music styles,but we have been so actively encouraged by some of the most talented & nicest people that we have got to know ;To those lovely folks we thankyou. KEEP MUSIC LIVE.

Set amid some of the finest countryside in Shorpshire and with several paths leading virtually to its front door - The Horseshoe Inn is the perfect place for a post-walk pint. Stroll through the many beer garden areas or visit the Stiperstones and wander about the Long Mynd down the road. As well as some fantastic views, there's also natural history intrests with red kites , wild flowers and animals.. With a welcoming athmosphere inside the bar, and gardens at the rear, you'll be spoilt for choice of where best to enjoy your drink.

Not far from the river Onny, the Horseshoe pub has a real open fire for the cold winter and some unusual windows that have to be seen to be believed. Music is high on the agenda here with the biggest Open Mike sessions in the county taking place every Monday night followed by entertainment through out the week. Darts and dominoes are played here weekly. The rest of the decor is traditional wooden tables and chairs. This pub must come top of your list of your visit to the area.
